The keynote speaker at today’s conference, launching the Reconstruction Program of the Worl, will be Dr Eike Hartmann, Minister of Architecture and City Planning of the Global Country of World Peace. Dr Hartmann will unveil a plan for the reconstruction of Geneva using the principles of Vedic architecture in accord with Natural Law – setting the trend for all major cites of the world to become fortune-creating cities.

Dr Hartmann says: “It is essential that all buildings in the world—houses, offices, schools, and government buildings—and all towns and cities be reconstructed according to these ideal principles of construction. Unless this is done our world family will continue to suffer unnecessarily, and world peace will always remain a question mark.”

Also present at the conference today, and speaking via video link from other countries, will be several Rajas and Ministers of the Global Country of World Peace. The Rajas and Ministers are now creating a new light of life for all mankind under the guidance of His Majesty Maharaja Nader Raam, First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, the most eminent scientist of this age who is renowned for his discovery of consciousness at the basis of the human physiology—proving that man is really Cosmic, administered by the evolutionary power of the Constitution of the Universe, the Veda, the common “heritage of all humanity” (according to UNESCO).

The Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the world’s foremost scientist of consciousness, whose Transcendental Meditation Movement has been active worldwide for 50 years this year, will address the conference via video link from his headquarters in The Netherlands.

The Raja of Switzerland, Dr Felix Kägi, host of the conferences, is cordially inviting the leaders of the international community in Geneva to attend, and bring this new light of life to their countries.

Yesterday’s conference launched a uniquely effective Poverty-Removal Program based on the development of the two billion hectares of unused agricultural land in the world (FAO statistic). Announcing the plan, Dr Benjamin Feldman, Minister of Finance and Planning of the Global Country of World Peace, said: “Our planning of this great project is really perfect in every way. Men of vision are invited to quick­ly begin to participate without taking much time to think and decide. All investors will glorify their family history by participating in this project.”

Dr Feldman also announced that Maharishi Colleges of Vedic Economy and Maharishi Colleges of Vedic Agriculture will be established as part of this program in order educate the poor and increase their productivity, so that they earn more while working fewer hours a day; and guide them to produce export-oriented products for maximum profit.

The Geneva conferences started on Sunday, 27 November, with the inauguration of Maharishi University of World Peace—a new global University with its headquarters in Geneva and colleges in every country to bring the complete knowledge of Natural Law to every nation through Internet and satellite broadcasting. This was followed on Monday with the inauguration of Maharishi Vedic University, which will introduce consciousness--based education in every country; and on Tuesday with the inauguration of Maharishi Vedic Medical University, which will introduce practical programs for prevention and cure of disorders on the family, city, national, and international levels of life. Tuesday’s conference saw the inauguration of the Practical Programs for Developing Higher States of Consciousness, which are at the basis of the success of all three of these institutions.

With the help of  satellite photographs of 20 major capital cites of the world and their government buildings, Dr Hartmann illustrated the horrors of chaotic city planning and the negative impact on the minds of government leaders. The Constitution of the Universe and World Peace

7 December 2005 Press Conference Highlights
 

Dr Hagelin: ‘Jai Guru Dev. Thank you very much, Maharishi. There are some excellent questions from the global press, generated by last week’s remarkable series of inaugurations of a dawning new fortune for all mankind.

‘First, Maharishi, there are questions on last week’s remarkable inaugurations. At a time when every government in the world is mired in seemingly unsolvable problems and government leaders in most countries are struggling to hold onto power, Maharishi’s Peace Government last week celebrated the dawn of a new fortune for all mankind. Maharishi told the press that a new time of peace and prosperity is coming through the support of the eternal light of the Cosmic Constitution. Would Maharishi please explain what he means by the eternal light of the Cosmic Constitution? And would Maharishi explain how his Peace Government will apply this Constitution to bring peace to a very troubled world?’ 

Maharishi: ‘It is good to take questions from the press, because the whole thing is so total—total. This is the scientific age, where the knowledge of total Natural Law has been discovered in functioning within the field of eternal silence. Whatever way we analyze it and look at it, it is the discovery of unity within the nature of diversity. This is discovered as an eternal phenomenon, which means a phenomenon that is eternally going on and on and on and on to the extent that, as it is going on in the relative field, it is also going on in the unmanifest field.

‘It is such a beautiful, satisfying vision of reality. Total Natural Law, with its infinite dynamism, is eternally going on within the eternal silence of self-referral consciousness. It is a huge opening not only in terms of the theoretical understanding about it but in terms of practically living it all the time. Every state is unbelievable, but that is our joy.

‘It may not be easy to understand when it is expressed in these words. But it is enjoyed in the deepest recess of silence within the self-referral reality of everyone. This is the self-referral reality of everyone. It is such an enormous field of dynamism, going on within the silence of unity. Everything is put together in one unified, self-referral wholeness, which is the Self of everyone. Being the Self of everyone, it is here, there, and everywhere. It is different everywhere, and it is the same everywhere.

‘It is very beautiful. It has been given expression last week, so clearly and so completely. Now, this week, our Movement’s leadership is planning to demonstrate this reality. How are we going to demonstrate it? Just by the different resolutions of last week in Geneva—so many different values last week.

‘Dr John Hagelin, we can ask our Prime Minister to describe this as much as it can be brought to words, as much as it can be described. In actuality, it being the field of the transcendent, it is not possible to say it. But it is possible to be it, and being it, perform all aspects of it.

‘It is the being that makes it actualize itself. Throughout the ages, an expression, “Be it so”, is the expression. It is attributed to be from the altar of God. The devotee himself appears, puts himself at the altar of God, and God whispers, “Be it so. Enjoy fulfillment of your desire.” This is the fulfillment of every religion and field of searching.

‘Dr Hagelin, can we invite our Prime Minister of the Global Country? The press should notice. What is the press is noticing? I would ask the press to notice that every country—every country on its own—is rising to be a Global Country. Every single country, small or big, is going to rise to the dignity of a Global Country of World Peace.

‘The fine point about it is that it is not necessary—now take notice of it—it is not necessary for any country to join with any other country. It is not a matter of alliance. It is not a matter of union. It is not a matter of parties uniting or raising hands: “How many votes do I have, and how many votes do you have?” It is not the voting; it is not the voting system. It is a matter of Being. It is a matter of Being.
 

‘When we say anything regarding this, we are only expressing the natural working of the Constitution of the Universe. This is functioning all the time, everywhere in creation or in the unmanifest state of creation. When you say “in creation”, suddenly you see that you are left peeking out the other side of creation, where there was no creation—the unmanifest field of creation. Then, you come back to the creation.

‘When you are describing the creation, then you feel embarrassed. You feel embarrassed. You are describing something which is not there, but you are using all logic, this and this, and you are proving it to be this and this and this and this. It is very embarrassing to describe the reality in both its aspects together—in its unity and its diversity—both together. This togetherness of many is not an easy thing for the reality of speech, that means the flow of knowledge.

‘All our Rajas who spoke in the last week proved, in examination, that they are the enlightened administrators of the world who are going to run the Government of World Peace. Running the Government of World Peace is simply putting ourselves in the reality of life. The reality of life is on one side individual and on one side cosmic—one side expressed, one side not expressed—one side many, one side one. It is all the beautiful things of multiplicity and unity at the same time.

‘The whole thing is so enjoyable. The world is now going to simultaneously have many cities coming up with—we have a very nice word for it—fortune-creating buildings. It is not good to say, but the buildings that are not built according to Vastu are creating an unfortunate destiny. Now the buildings will be fortune-creating buildings.

‘I heard this word from our Dr Eike, the chief of the science of construction from the Vedic Literature, when he said “fortune-creating buildings”, as opposed to the history so far which has created unfortunate buildings. The cost was calculated for the six billion people of the world to be in proper Vastus. Our Finance Minister has the whole thing at his fingertips. It is a big story to tell. It is a never-ending story to tell.

‘To whom we are talking? We are talking to those whose minds have very small functioning. Their minds are not functioning in Totality. When we give them the knowledge that we received from Guru Dev, the Vedic Tradition, then everyone will say, “Yes, yes, I know I am cosmic—that is all. Yes, I know that my house has been constructed on the same principles as the infinite diversity of the galactic universe is constructed and is being run—the same thing.”

‘The story is a never-ending story. I do not want to say two opposite things, because they nullify themselves. Therefore, the whole thing is completely describable and at the same time, completely not describable. It is unity at the same time it is diversity. This is the joy of the scientific age.

‘The details are so fine; they are such a complete expression of reality that one would like to talk only about that, only about that, only about that. When I heard Raja Dean, Raja of Washington, speaking, I found him sitting in the junction point of relative and absolute. He went on and went on; I was actually waiting to see when he would get out of sitting like the lamp at the door, which lights inside and outside. This is Nyaya an aspect of the Vedic Literature. When he was sitting where the Nyaya Sutras are, he continued from point to point, from point to point.

‘When Raja Wynne, of the Vedic City in America—Vedic America—was speaking, he was speaking all the relative values, but he was seated within himself, in his self-referral state of consciousness. This is the time that the reality, which is transcendental, beyond space and time, is being vocally presented. It is being presented in the structural dynamics of mathematics and non-mathematics completely spontaneously. You can touch it in terms of one, two, three, four, a hundred, a thousand, a million, and all that, but actually, you can describe it, you can present it yourself, by being it—by being it. You present yourself in this.

‘In these press conferences—this collection of wise men—it was very, very satisfactory to see what they are questioning, and to answer them, because the answer is so natural. In one breath, we fulfil the drawing in of the total unbounded, unlimited, galactic universe. It is so beautiful.

‘Take the questions from the press, and ask our Prime Minister or our Finance Minister to answer them all. It is such a joy to listen to them.’

The Details of Creation on
the Level of Direct Subjective Experience

14 December 2005 Press Conference Highlights 

Dr Hagelin: ‘Thank you, Maharishi. There is obviously an extremely unique opportunity for the press to declare eureka today.

‘Maharishi, the world’s foremost quantum physicists have developed highly successful Unified Field theories, such as the superstring, which describe the field of unity that underlies our diverse universe, the field of unity that underlies the diverse particles and forces that comprise the universe. But there is a branch of particle physics called experimental particle physics, and a special breed of physicists called particle experimentalists who spend millions of dollars and years of their lives looking for new particles in order to confirm the minute details of these Unified Field theories.

‘Our Maharishi University of Management students, gathered here in Constitution Hall with me now, will soon visit the world’s largest particle accelerator in nearby Fermilab in Chicago. It appears that these giant machines are soon to become obsolete museums, because even as powerful as they are, they cannot really begin to explore the deepest levels of nature at the grand unified and super unified levels. These are levels of unified reality that the human brain can so easily explore on the level of consciousness through the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programs.

‘Does Maharishi foresee a time soon when everything one could possibly want to know about these deeply unified layers of creation—all the details of the Unified Field and the Constitution of the Universe—will be fully transparent on the level of direct subjective experience. And will these particle accelerators, the modern microscopes of our age, truly become relics of times past?’

Maharishi: ‘That will just be what the first cognizer of the Veda is. As tradition has known it, the seer Rishi Madhuchchhandas sees. What does he see? He sees the first syllable of the Veda, “A”, Agnimile Purohitam. This is how the Veda proceeds. He sees “A”, and in “A”, he sees the total Veda.

‘We can have an example. In a banyan seed or in a tiny seed of a guava, there is hollowness. Within that hollowness, if one could see, is the entire tree and all the mechanics of the dynamics of the unmanifest seed. The whole tree is there. This is seeing the entire tree in the hollowness of the seed. This means that the whole dynamic activity, the entire dynamism, is seen within the unmanifest field. This is the total Veda.
 

‘This total Veda then flows. It flows into Agnimile Purohitam. The sequential emergence of the Veda is just as Dr Hagelin was saying. Ultimately, human awareness will be flowing in terms of the speech of the Veda, in terms of the language of the Veda, in terms of the sound of the Veda. That is Vedic recitation, having the Totality, and then, in sequence, Totality unfolding itself, infinity unfolding itself, into many, many points—unfolding to the point. This is exactly what will happen when the perception of these physical values comes to an end, and the consciousness value continues in its more and more refined value until the infinity comes to a point.

‘Point to infinity is the flow of the Veda—the flow of the knowledge of the Constitution of the Universe. All the mechanics of transformation of the unmanifest into manifest—this process which we call science and technology—will be the ultimate thing. That is where there is the perception of these finer particles. We call it a “particle accelerator”. There are particles and then the most—what we say—you squeeze the particle into something, consciousness, higher states of consciousness. That is the Atma, the Self of everyone, Being, the be-all and end-all of everything, the Self of everything, the total field of knowledge.

‘The pursuit of modern science is getting into the sequentially refining values of creation and, ultimately, coming to recognize the abstract, unmanifest value in terms of the very concrete whole tree, which is there in the unmanifest. The pursuit of modern science is in that direction which is the structure of the Veda, the flow of the Veda. This is Vedic Civilization, which studies that and makes the awareness of a human child, a human being, into that ability that functions in the light of God, that functions on the level of all possibilities.

‘This is the extreme value of the scientific investigation of knowledge. It ends up in enabling human consciousness to be a lively field of all possibilities. The word “all possibilities” is a reality on that level. It is not an empty word; it is not an emotional word. It is a concrete reality, where one is on the level of creating through desiring. This is stirring the field of the Devas—stirring the field of Creative Intelligence on its own level—the world of the Devas, the world of the administrators of the universe.

‘It is a beautiful level. Whatever it explores has the potential putting that which is abstract Natural Law onto the concrete platform of expression. On this level is “Brahma Bhavati Sarati”—the Creator becomes the charioteer of our action, the conductor of the physical chariot, the body, to do everything. It is a beautiful field of knowledge, and we are going to lay it open to all our children for all future generations. The world will be a beautifully reported, perfect life.

‘Your structuring dynamics of the Peace Government are going to unfold this through education, through health programs, through the architectural reconstruction programs. All these different values of knowledge are going to be very complete and free from any wrong implications. It is very good. Tell the press that a good time has come for them to report now. The time has come to report.’
