(November 2, 2002) Maharishi Vedic Health Care System offers the health ministers of every country the scientific knowledge and technologies to end the terrible legacy of sickness and suffering that has plagued mankind for millennia, and usher in a new era of perfect health and enlightenment for the individual, and peace and affluence for the family of nations.

This is the conclusion of a medical conference on health held today in Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA, which called on governments to adopt into their national health care systems Maharishi’s Vedic Approach to Health. The conference was held under the auspices of the Global Country of World Peace, and is the first in an historic seven-day series of conferences on the applications to all areas of life of the Vedic principles of consciousness.

Maharishi’s Vedic Health Care System is based on the greatest scientific discovery of our age by His Majesty Raja Nader Raam, M.D., Ph.D., First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace. Through his research on physiology, His Majesty has proven that all physical expressions in the universe, including the human physiology, are the expressions of the deepest level of Nature’s functioning—the Unified Field of Natural Law—the field of consciousness.

His Majesty Raja Raam’s discovery has revealed the supremacy of consciousness over matter—and has changed forever the modern concept of health. This was the message of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, founder of the Global Country of World Peace, during his weekly global news conference held on Wednesday, November 13, 2002, and broadcast live via satellite, Internet webcast, and teleconference call.

Maharishi asked His Excellency Dr. John Hagelin, world-renowned quantum physicist and Minister of Science and Technology of the Global Country of World Peace, to be a "guiding light" for these top scientists in creating prevention-oriented, problem-free administration in every country. Maharishi said such ideal administration will complement, not compete with, existing systems of government.

"Dr. Hagelin is a top scientist in the field of physics and in the field of consciousness. Such men of intelligence should spearhead the administration in every country," Maharishi said.

To train future world leaders, Maharishi Universities of World Peace are being established in every country. "These universities will create leaders with fully developed minds who possess the knowledge of the supreme organizing intelligence of Natural Law," Maharishi said. "They will apply this knowledge to raise manmade constitutions to the supreme level of efficiency and effectiveness of the Constitution of the Universe, Total Natural Law."

Maharishi said that the ideal system of administration—Vedic administration—is being offered to the world by His Majesty Raja Raam, the First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace. "His Majesty Raja Raam will soon bring out ideal administration in every area of society based on his discoveries in human physiology. His research has revealed that every physical expression in the universe is just the expression of consciousness. The world is very fortunate to have such a great scientist introduce this complete, scientific knowledge of ideal administration for every nation."

The Global Country of World Peace was established two years ago by Maharishi as "a country without borders for peace-loving people everywhere." The Global Country of World Peace provides governments with the knowledge and technologies of Total Natural Law to promote prevention-oriented, problem-free administration.

The Global Country of World Peace is implementing Maharishi’s program to create world peace. The plan calls for establishing several large peace-creating groups of 8,000 experts in Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying throughout the world, including one larger group of up to 40,000 experts in India. The plan also includes building 3,000 Peace Palaces in the world’s largest 3,000 cities—each Peace Palace will be home to a group of 100 to 200 Yogic Flyers.
